i think that these adverts are effective because they show a picture of the product, they give a little information about the product and the colour schemes work really well together.
the choice of font they use works really well with the product as well.
the background colour in the top picture makes the product stand out really good.

I think James advert is eye catching, but i think he could of chose a better font that would of fitted in better with the colour and the car. I think he could of also spaced the text out a bit further about from each other

1. An advert needs to be colourful and be eye catching. It needs to have a big, bold title. And not have to many pictures and words ! It needs have a title a slogan and a picture. You shouldn't have to much in it because it will look to jam packed.
2. An advert persuades people to buy stuff they don't need by using the word's YOU, GREAT,BETTER THAN THE REST and SPECTACULAR...

AIDA
This advert sows that the mazda car is a family car and the picture of the man and his son says that your bond with your children will grow stronger if you buy this car.
this is a advert for the new driver game this ad contains humor because it shows a pic of a slow car then a fast car. this adverts tells us that this game is a action packed and fast game so people will want to buy it.

answers to t.v advert questions
1)The first TV ad broadcast in the UK was on ITV on 21 September 1955, advertising Gibbs SR toothpaste.
2)The current record for an advertising slot on British terrestrial television is quoted at being £250,000 for a 30 second slot during the 2010 series of Britain's Got Talent.
3)It should be noted however that while British TV advertising is cheaper, this is only to be expected as the United Kingdom has a much lower population (63 million) compared to the US (310 million).
4)The introduction of digital video recorders (also known as digital television recorders or DTRs), such as TiVo, and services like Sky+, Dish Network and Astro MAX, which allow the recording of television programs onto a hard drive, also enabled viewers to fast-forward or automatically skip through advertisements of recorded programs.
5)Product placement, or embedded marketing, is a form of advertisement, where branded goods or services are placed in a context usually devoid of ads, such as movies, music videos, the story line of television shows, or news programs. For example, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition advertises Sears, Kenmore, and Home Depot by specifically using products from these companies, and some sports events like the Sprint Cup of NASCAR are named after sponsors, and of course, race cars are frequently covered in advertisements.
6) On April 1, 1970 President Richard Nixon signed the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act into law, banning cigarette advertisements on television in the United States starting on January 2, 1971.
7) the most expensive t.v advert ever made was the Guiness domino
8) the cheapest advert ever made was a home made commercial for Doritos created by two 25-year-olds for the princely sum of £6.50
9) my 3 favourite adverts are, The cadburys chocolate advert where the gorilla plays the drums and i also like the chocolate cream egg adverts but my all time favourite is the peperami advert.

REPRESENTATION ON TEENAGERS
I have chosen to do my blog on the representation of teenagers, because people who see teenagers on the street in groups or alone may think that they are out to cause trouble and most of the time that is not true, because they could be out to meet a member of family or they could be going to one of their friends houses. and so i am going to show you how the media stereotypes TEENAGERS.
TEENAGERS ON T.V
This is a extract taken from the t.v program Hollyoaks. the teenagers in this picture look like they are about to cause trouble and they look like they are up to know good. the camera angle makes them look very mysterious and bad.
This is a picture from the T.V program warterloo road. in this pic the teenagers from the show are all standing together as a group
Apart from all the violence that teens do people also think that we are dumb. this is a poster from the funny t.v show THE INBETWEENERS in this program the boys are always being dumb and they always get them selves into silly situations and when adults watch this show they believe that all teens are like this.
TEENAGERS IN THE MOVIES
This is a seen from the film Adulthood were jay and Sam are going to have a fight over Sam killing jays mate trife. the camera angle in this shot is very menacing because Sam is holding a baseball bat and Jay is holding a gun which is making out the they were bad and dangerous people in the first place.
This is a poster from the film kidulthood. the camera shot in this picture is very dark and sinister because the characters in the poster are posing in different styles to make them look bad, big and scary. The person on the far right is holding a weapon which suggests that there are going to be some violence .
this is a part of the film kidulthood----------------->
This is a picture from the film attack the block in this picture the boy are riding their bikes. The camera angle in this shot is looking up at the boys which makes them look big when actually they haven't got a clue. In the film the boys are violent rude and frightening to the people who live in their block. And not all teenagers are like this.
TEENAGERS IN THE NEWS
What do we often hear about in the news?
That's right teens stabbing other teens, teens looting and the most recent was the London riots were mostly teenagers were looting and destroying property and causing havoc to their community. But when a teen has saved someone or helped someone they don't put that in the news...
<-----------This is a pic from the London riots this teenage boy has just set fire to a van
<----- this is a picture of a group of young youths breaking into a shop.
THIS IS I VIDEO FROM THE LONDON RIOTS ----->
SO for my conclusion I think that the majority of young teenagers are represented in a bad way because in T.V, films and the news we are always seem to be doing something wrong, and when we do something good it it rarely gets mentioned in the national news/national papers. But the local papers/local news often tell us a more rounded view of youngsters today. so if you want to see want to see what the young people are doing in your area get your papers, go down to the local youth clubs and colleges and see how they are working!!!!

but apart from all the crime we do get a mention on our exam papers but on the other hand when they do get a mention the press always compare's the test to another and say "are these test getting easier" which as basically pops our bubble because we have worked so hard on our exams an they say we haven't tried hard enough.
