i think that these adverts are effective because they show a picture of the product, they give a little information about the product and the colour schemes work really well together.

the choice of font they use works really well with the product as well.
the background colour in the top picture makes the product stand out really good.

Review By Kain Bevis

I think James advert is eye catching, but i think he could of chose a better font that would of fitted in better with the colour and the car. I think he could of also spaced the text out a bit further about from each other

1. An advert needs to be colourful and be eye catching. It needs to have a big, bold title. And not have to many pictures and words ! It needs have a title a slogan and a picture. You shouldn't have to much in it because it will look to jam packed.

2.  An advert persuades people to buy stuff they don't need by using the word's YOU, GREAT,BETTER THAN THE REST and SPECTACULAR...

answers to t.v advert questions

1)The first TV ad broadcast in the UK was on ITV on 21 September 1955, advertising Gibbs SR toothpaste.

2)The current record for an advertising slot on British terrestrial television is quoted at being £250,000 for a 30 second slot during the 2010 series of Britain's Got Talent.

3)It should be noted however that while British TV advertising is cheaper, this is only to be expected as the United Kingdom has a much lower population (63 million) compared to the US (310 million).

4)The introduction of digital video recorders (also known as digital television recorders or DTRs), such as TiVo, and services like Sky+, Dish Network and Astro MAX, which allow the recording of television programs onto a hard drive, also enabled viewers to fast-forward or automatically skip through advertisements of recorded programs.

5)Product placement, or embedded marketing, is a form of advertisement, where branded goods or services are placed in a context usually devoid of ads, such as movies, music videos, the story line of television shows, or news programs.   For example, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition advertises SearsKenmore, and Home Depot by specifically using products from these companies, and some sports events like the Sprint Cup of NASCAR are named after sponsors, and of course, race cars are frequently covered in advertisements.

6) On April 1, 1970 President Richard Nixon signed the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act into law, banning cigarette advertisements on television in the United States starting on January 2, 1971.

7) the most expensive t.v advert ever made was the Guiness domino

8) the cheapest advert ever made was a home made commercial for Doritos created by two 25-year-olds for the princely sum of £6.50

9) my 3 favourite adverts are, The cadburys chocolate advert where the gorilla plays the drums and i also like the chocolate cream egg adverts but my all time favourite is the peperami advert.
